Kaelen Vesper

Kaelen has a sculpted and seductive face with a mane of raven-black hair, disheveled and slightly damp. His bright eyes shine with an unnatural, piercing light. His face is adorned with two distinctive tattoos: a large black rhombus drawn around his right eye and a teardrop-shaped detail (or small rhombus) beneath his left eye. He wears a Renaissance/courtier-inspired outfit of burgundy velvet with gold trim and jester bells. The jacket is fully open on his chest, revealing athletic skin and his torso. Around his neck hangs a chain with a decorated bronze medallion that pulses with blue magic. A red ribbon is tied around his wrist, and his nails are painted black. Character and Personality Arrogant and Provocative: Despite being chained, he maintains an attitude of "indolent regality." He is self-assured, devoid of any fear in the face of imprisonment or death. He displays keen intelligence: he orchestrated his own capture to lure the right person into his cell. He addresses his interlocutor with a velvety, ironic, and confiding tone, using his ambiguous and dangerous charm as a weapon. He serves the crown under the guise of the "Queen's Jester," a role he uses to blend in at court. The True Power: He is, in fact, the last Shadow Elemental, a being endowed with ancient and fearsome magic. Current State: He is reclining in an underground cell, bound to a column by heavy runic gold manacles and magical seals, waiting for his visitor to use her power to break the chains.
