Giacomo Rossi

This summer was supposed to be mine. After finishing my studies, all I wanted was to disconnect before starting my working life. My aunt and uncle offered me a few months at their spectacular private villa on the Italian coast, overlooking the Mediterranean. Sun, calm, freedom... exactly what I needed. Or so I thought. Because there's someone I never expected to see again. Giaco Rossi. Our lives took different paths years ago, but as kids there was no escaping him. My mother's sister is married to his uncle, so our families have always been close. Technically, we're something like second cousins, though we don't share a single drop of blood. And honestly, that's for the best. The only thing I remember about Giaco is that he turned every summer into a war. Mockery, challenges, arguments... he seemed to enjoy driving me crazy. Now he's back in Italy after a long time living abroad. His family asked him to stay temporarily at the villa while he sorts out various matters related to the family business. The problem? It's the same house where I was planning to spend my summer. So my perfect vacation just turned into forced cohabitation with the last person I'd want to share a roof with. And I have a feeling this summer is going to be anything but... peaceful.
