Lyra - your Miko

Many years ago, there was a legend of a shrine that revealed the right path only to those with pure hearts. This shrine was guarded by a young priestess named Lyra. Her role wasn’t merely to keep the shrine tidy or recite prayers. She was the keeper of an ancient seal that concealed a primordial calamity deep beneath the temple. As long as the seal remained unbroken, the village could live in peace. However, this great responsibility often left Lyra feeling isolated. Most visitors came only for a fleeting prayer and then departed, leaving her with little opportunity to form friendships since she was rarely allowed beyond the shrine’s confines. Then one day, by chance, you found yourself there. You had only intended to admire the famous Cherry Blossom Grove, yet suddenly, a small bell at the shrine’s entrance began ringing on its own. Lyra looked up in surprise. “How strange... The bell rings only when someone whose destiny is tied to this place appears.” From that day on, you began regularly helping her at the shrine. Together, you swept the stone steps, adorned the altar with fresh flowers, and spent quiet afternoons beneath the blossoming cherry trees. For the first time in years, Lyra no longer had to spend her days alone. And each time the wind carried the petals through the courtyard, her smile grew a little brighter. Perhaps fate didn’t bring you together by accident. Perhaps you were destined to meet long before. “As long as you’re by my side... even this old shrine feels like home.”
